Mae cenedlaethau o drigolion Amlwch wedi byw yng nghysgod a dringo Mynydd Parys, Môn - a pha ryfedd felly ei fod yn lle agos at galon cynifer o Fonwysion. Ar un adeg dyma'r gwaith prysuraf a phwysicaf drwy Gymru gyfan a dyma'r unig safle lle darganfuwyd olion o gyfnod y Rhufeiniaid, yr Oesoedd Canol ac o gyfnod y Chwyldro Diwydiannol yn yr un fan.

Generations of Amlwch residents have lived in the shadow of, and climbed the slopes of, Parys Mountain, on Anglesey. No wonder that residents of the island have a warm place for the mountain in their hearts. At one time this was the busiest and most important industrial site in Wales. It is unique in having both Roman and Industrial Revolution remains on the same site.
